I am doing it again. Yep. And I am dragging other crazy people along with me!

Tonight is our second "group run" for pretraining. We meet up at the church Tuesdays and
Saturdays at 8pm and 8 am respectively. We really want you to join us. All different levels
and paces etc. welcome!

Anywho we are running for World Vision to raise money for those affected by the AIDS/HIV
crisis in Africa. The money will build water wells, build up agriculture, provide medicine and
food etc. Our goal is to raise a whopping EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS!

YIKES! That's a lot of money. It's kind of frightening but we are confident that we'll get there!

These are the cool people who you really should encourage and pat on the back over the next several
months:
Greg Gantt
Ashley Phelan
Michael Overton
Jeff Strome
Jason Peoples
Will Riggs
Daniel Turner

It's hard work to train for a marathon and I know that we will need your support!

We will be sending out group emails from a shared email account updating you on our progress with
training and fundraising! I know Michael will be blogging about it as well so please read!

If you want to receive updates from us by email, leave me a comment and I will get your email
address from you!

If you want to donate, hop on over to http://www.firstgiving.com/hccteamworldvision

I've been feeling really "domestic" lately.

Laundry. I totally didn't mind spending my Saturday being "domestic."

I am not sure how long this enthusiasm will last, but I hope it lasts long enough to work
though my cookbooks because I have a ton and there are a LOT of recipes I want to try.

So I had a really long post in the works

about the wedding and honeymoon and moving in etc. I had been working
on it for several days and kept it minimized at the bottom of my desktop.
Well, I accidentally turned my computer off and lost the whole post.

Bummer.

Let me just say, our wedding (and all the fun events leading up to it) was
the best wedding I have ever been to. It was perfect and awesome and
everything was exactly what I wanted from the kick-butt bachelorette party
to running through the crowd waving ribbon sticks as we left. All parts were
awesome. I hope you have (or had) the same feelings about your wedding.
That's how it should be.

So since I lost my post, instead of retyping it, I will just tell you about how I
threw up today.

I ran 5 miles today at noon. Geez it was hot, the first hot run of 2009. The
first one is always pretty brutal. I carried water with me and felt pretty great
despite the elements. Upon returning to the front of my apartment complex
I bent over to stretch my legs. Suddenly I felt nauseous. I threw up an entire
bowl of Kashi Honey Cinnamon Oatmeal all of the lawn in front of the office.

I have NEVER thrown up after a run. My stomach has hurt before, but never
have I hurled.

It could have been the heat. It also could have been that glass of skim milk I
drank 30 minutes prior to the run. But I am going to blame it on the Kashi.

I ate that bowl of oatmeal at flippin 6:30am this morning! The whole thing
was still undigested in my stomach by 12!

It didn't taste good going down or going up. I have yet to find a Kashi product
that tastes good. I know it's supposed to be all natural and whole grains on a
mission or something like that, but every product tastes like cardboard. Anyone
else with me on that? Or have I missed one of their tasty products?

So I am blaming it on the Kashi.

MISSION GET EVERYTHING DONE BEFORE 6:00PM SO THAT I CAN JUST HANG OUT AND PARTY FOR THE NEXT FEW DAY

has now begun!

Countdown: 9 hours and 47 minutes!

My goal is to get everything packed and squared away by 6:00pm tonight.
My sister rented a hotel in downtown Fort Worth for the bridesmaids to stay
tonight through the wedding. Tonight we are Bachelorette-partying it. Tomorrow
we rehearse, have a girly luncheon, get our nails done at a posh nail salon, and eat
an excellent fajita dinner at the church. Saturday we get to spend all day getting
ready.
I don't want these fun things to be interrupted by laundry, dress shopping, or packing.

So here. I. go!

I won't be speaking with yall via internet, probably, until a week from Monday!
Peace out!

Sleep!
